Running for two

Between my family and Keith’s, there are nine new cousins coming into the world in the next six months. So many babies!

Josie started crawling today! Kai put a stop to it.

Really excited about my run today! My first time ever doing five miles with an overall sub 9. I felt great, but the humidity and heat were killer.

I love when my elevation is symmetrical.

I think the accent wall looks good. I was a little nervous about the colors I picked out, but I love them!

My task master husband has allowed for little rest after our run today. It’ll be nice to have Kai’s room finally finished. So far, we’ve insulated the closet, built the bookshelves, and painted. When I say we, I mean Keith and his dad. I have these babies to take care of.

Haha, nicolemichelles702 when you saw me I was trying to get to the bathrooms at paradise point. That was my fastest pace of the day!

I swear running during pregnancy and now make me much more patient and happy.

Awww! Thanks so much :) I love feeding her during long runs cause it gives me a break!

builttorun is a new momma who runs. dsteinyrunner and nicolemichelles702 are running mommas too. karicanrun, sararuns, running-hobbit and runamour are mommas who just had babies/having babies soon. I know they ran beforehand, and will probably get back into it when they can.

I’m sure I’m forgetting people, but these are the ones who come to mind.

We had a pretty awesome 18 mile run this week. Neither Keith or I wanted to do it, but we got it done! Our route was pretty fun, mostly nice and flat. The weather was cool, but it was so humid. My shorts kept falling down because they were saturated. I ended up taking them off since I had spandex on underneath.

Our elapsed time was kinda sad, but I had to stop and refill my camelback, take a bathroom break, and feed the beast. The girls did great, and Keith and I alternated pushing the stroller every three miles. It helped break the run up.

11 weeks done, 7 to go!

It took all day to get motivated to run, but I did it! I could feel fall in the air!!! It was still in the 80s but the humidity was low and there was definitely a chill in the air. I’m excited!

I play this game when I’m running called ‘is it a snake?’ 99 out of 100 it’s a stick or a crack in the sidewalk or a squirrel. Today, I had already been fooled by a big crack, so I was not prepared for this guy. Kai said he was pretty. And he was, from a distance. I stood there and waited until he was out of sight before I started up again. I respect all God’s creatures, but snakes still give me the heebie jeebies.

My overall pace for each month for the past year. Progress!
